Email Marketing > List Building - How To Increase Opt-ins Immediately


How many times have you heard that the money is in the list?

If you're like most internet marketers, more times than you care to remember. How do you actually build your list? Isn't that the question that really needs to be addressed and answered?

If your answer is yes, then you are going to enjoy reading this article. So grab a glass of tea or your favorite soft drink and prepare to learn, or at least make sure, that you have these processes in place for successful list building.

First, is your opt-in page optimized for the highest visitor to opt-in subscriber rates possible? Here is a quick checklist to ensure that it is.

1. Is your header attention-grabbing and explain the key benefits of your product?

If it isn't, making it so will increase your conversions.

2. Have you included a privacy disclaimer on your webform to ensure your visitor that their private contact information will not be sold, shared or rented to third parties?

This one little addition will build trust and increase your conversions.

3. Have you identified the features that can be described as benefits to the customer and successfully painted a picture of them using and succeeding with your product or service and then listed them as five bullet points?

This format has been professionally tested to produce the highest conversion rates possible!

4. Have you included at least one photo and image? This also has proven to increase conversions.

5. Have you included audio? This can be done for free by getting a free private phone line at www.privatephone.com and then using their record a voicemail to yourself feature and then checking your messages in your inbox and using the inbed a message link feature they have into your web site.

It will now function as the audio on your opt in page where you 1. Welcome your visitor, 2. Talk up the benefits and give examples. 3. Include a verbal as well as written call to action for them to type their full name and primary email address into the webform box.

6. Lastly, have you included testimonies of satisfied customers on your opt in p age? The use of testimonies has been proven to increase conversions by up to 200%, so if you are not using these, you are leaving your money on the table for someone else.

By implementing all of the four processes given to you in this article, you will see an increase in your opt-in subscribers by at least 300% after the first week!
